“As it is Written” was one of four panels that were part of a 2026 exhibition in the members gallery of The Alternator gallery in Kelowna. Here I am standing in my soap box proclaiming all that I have written as my truths: The right to be seen and heard; to fully embrace the role of the black sheep; To go out without make up or nylons, wearing grey sweatpants and with my hair as wild as I need it be; to feel my worth no matter my weight or appearance; to play in the sandbox but only with those who love me; and to remember that I am loved
